Este's art is informed by the real and the imaginary.  Although shapes are distorted and altered, there is a strong sense of the familiar. Este's work always retains a freshness with her layering colours, patterns, textures and mark making, and her trademark floral and simplified plant forms. Este said it's really exciting to see her paintings transformed into digital art and realised as textile designs.
